The launch of Workrite Canada includes the creation of a product line specifically developed to meet the Canadian standards and practices when it comes to protective clothing at the jobsite. The service allows for quick and effortless customization in 18 predetermined garment locations with no minimum requirement for ordering. Customers simply indicate the location for placement, provide artwork and a sample design is sent for proofing. Once the design is approved the garments are embroidered and shipped from our distribution center.
Oxnard, California (Feb 11, 2013) – Williamson-Dickie Manufacturing Company affiliate Workrite Uniform Company, Inc., a leading provider of flame-resistant (FR) workwear worldwide, is taking their FR garment certifications to a new level of safety: certifying a wide variety of garments to the NFPA 2112 standard and accompanying those certified garments with a visible external label—the first FR garment provider to do so.
It is more common for FR fabrics to be NFPA 2112 certified, but Workrite takes an extra step to certify the whole garment, offering one of the broadest assortments of certified garments in the industry. An extra external label being added to certified garments allows customers to be sure their employees are wearing NFPA 2112-certified garments with a quick visual confirmation (there is also the required internal label on each certified garment).

Beginning this month, customers in the food service, hospitality and healthcare industries will now have head-to-toe uniform options available from Dickies, including juniors sizing and footwear options as well as a full range of men’s and women’s uniform apparel needs. In addition to servicing customers across the United States, the company’s occupational wear division will also now provide workwear uniform solutions for customers across Canada.
