FORT WORTH, TEXAS (July 24, 2014) – Leading global workwear maker Williamson-Dickie Mfg. Co. has acquired North East Rig Out Ltd. (NERO), an Aberdeen, UK-based workwear manufacturer specializing in the oil and gas industry. Established in 1995, NERO is also a head-to-toe personal protective equipment (PPE) solutions provider. The acquisition was completed by Williamson-Dickie’s European division on July 18, 2014.

Fort Worth, Texas (April 28, 2014) – Walls®, a Williamson-Dickie Mfg. Co. brand and leading provider of workwear and hunting gear, today announced a new licensing agreement with Oilfield CamoTM. Walls will be the exclusive apparel licensee of Oilfield Camo, adding to the breadth of product now targeting the oil and gas industry.

Fort Worth, Texas (May 23, 2013) – Leading global work wear company Williamson-Dickie Manufacturing Company’s flagship brand Dickies® today announced the addition of the Garment Embroidery Service to uniform orders across the United States. The service allows for quick and effortless customization in 18 predetermined garment locations with no minimum requirement for ordering. Customers simply indicate the location for placement, provide artwork and a sample design is sent for proofing. Once the design is approved the garments are embroidered and shipped from our distribution center.

Oxnard, California (Feb 11, 2013) – Williamson-Dickie Manufacturing Company affiliate Workrite Uniform Company, Inc., a leading provider of flame-resistant (FR) workwear worldwide, is taking their FR garment certifications to a new level of safety: certifying a wide variety of garments to the NFPA 2112 standard and accompanying those certified garments with a visible external label—the first FR garment provider to do so.

It is more common for FR fabrics to be NFPA 2112 certified, but Workrite takes an extra step to certify the whole garment, offering one of the broadest assortments of certified garments in the industry. An extra external label being added to certified garments allows customers to be sure their employees are wearing NFPA 2112-certified garments with a quick visual confirmation (there is also the required internal label on each certified garment).
